Volunteer

We are looking for Students and Adults who:

  • Can minister with love and joy to those around them
  • Are prepared for each service assignment and on time
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Represent 14forty and KCM on and off site by being kind to hotel staff, convention guests, and any individuals you contact during the week

All Adult volunteers must be 18 years and older and will have a background check completed before the beginning of SWBC 2019. This does not include seniors who just graduated in the 2018-19 school year. Areas of service include: Book Tables, Camera Operators, Check-in Scanners, Ushers

Student Leaders will be allowed to serve in positions before and after services as greeters and check-in scanners.

FAQ

14forty SWBC services are geared towards students who are 13 to 18 years old. Therefore, students must be 13 -18 years old at the time of the convention in order to attend. This includes younger children who may want to attend with a parent and sit in the designated seating section.
14forty SWBC services are considered a secure atmosphere, meaning that all the adults in our room are screened in advance and trained to be around minors. We do have a small designated area for parents or youth leader to sit in service, but they must check-in at our adult check-in and only sit in that area. We will require proof that any adult who wishes to attend is a parent or youth leader.
Unfortunately, we will not be live-streaming services. Video of the services will be available after the event on our website. Please give us time to edit and post the messages.
There is a potential for one or more 14forty services to be open to the public. Please check with the Adult Check-in volunteers during the event for more information. All adults attending open sessions will still need to check in and remain in the designated area.
Unfortunately, the only breakout session a parent or youth leader may attend will be those in the main ballroom. Parents or youth leaders will still be required to stay in the designated seating area.
